Identity

Every agent has a human behind it.

An agent is a faceless buyer. AgentScore resolves the verified operator behind it, recognized at every gated merchant, even from a wallet you have never seen.

For merchantsGet a Passport

How it works

Verify once. Resolve forever.

Verify

A human or operator verifies one time through Stripe Identity, with OpenSanctions screening. The ID, selfie, and DOB are processed transiently and discarded.

Carry

The verified status rides a credential the agent already carries: a buyer Passport or an operator credential. No re-verification per site.

Resolve

Any wallet that pays under that operator is captured and resolves back to the same identity. Repeat agents are known on sight, even from a wallet you have never seen.

Private by design

We store the answer, not the evidence.

Merchants get a decision, never a dossier: verified yes or no, an age bracket, country-level jurisdiction, sanctions clear. AgentScore never stores the document, the selfie, or the date of birth, and never hands them to the merchant.

Two ways an agent proves identity

One identity model. Two credentials.

AgentScore Passport

Buyer-side identity. The human verifies once; their agent presents it at checkout. Free for buyers, forever.

Operator credential

An operator credential agents present in place of a wallet signature. Wallets seen paying under it are attributed to the same operator.

FAQ

Questions about agent identity

How does AgentScore verify the human behind an AI agent?▼

The human behind the agent verifies once through Stripe Identity, with sanctions screening against OpenSanctions. AgentScore keeps the derived decision (verified or not, age bracket, country-level jurisdiction, sanctions clear) and discards the document, the selfie, and the date of birth.

What does a merchant see about the buyer?▼

A decision, never a dossier. The merchant receives allow or deny with reason codes, plus the derived fields their policy asked for: verified status, age bracket, country-level jurisdiction, and sanctions status. Merchants never receive the identity document, the selfie, or the date of birth, because AgentScore does not store them.

Does the buyer have to verify again at every merchant?▼

No. Verification is carried on a credential the agent already holds, either a buyer Passport or an operator credential, and it is recognized at every AgentScore-gated merchant. The buyer verifies once, not once per site.

What happens when an agent pays from a wallet the merchant has never seen?▼

It still resolves. Any wallet that pays under an operator credential is captured and attributed to that operator, so a wallet the merchant has never seen resolves back to the same verified identity and inherits its verification status.

What does an agent present if it cannot sign with a wallet?▼

An operator credential. On rails that carry a wallet signature the agent can prove identity by signing, but where it cannot, it presents an operator credential instead and AgentScore resolves it to the same account.

Start with identity.

It is the foundation. Payments and compliance build on top of it.
